Head outdoors on your own birding scavenger hunt, perfect for some weekend fun.

Looking for some family fun? Grab your binoculars & head outdoors on your very own Birding Scavenger Hunt! The Pottawattamie Conservation Environmental Education team has put together a great list of birds you may see at any of your Pottawattamie Conservation parks or in your own neighborhood. Download it today & see how many birds you can find!

Binoculars are a great tool when you head out on your scavenger hunt but they aren't necessary if you don't have any on hand.  Have a smartphone? Consider downloading a digital field guide app like The Audubon Bird Guide & the Merlin Bird ID app by Cornell Lab. Both of these apps are free to download & are great resources you can carry in your pocket.

Happy birding!
