Posted on 1/12/2018
Join us at Hitchcock Nature Center for birding in a whole new way!

Join us at the park on Saturday, February 3rd for Breakfast with the Birds at 8:00 a.m.

This new program will feature Pheasants Forever biologist and experienced birder Nic Salick along with Pottawattamie County Naturalist Rene Stroud who will be sharing their expertise.

Designed for anyone with a love of birds this program will cover native bird species and behavior as participants view species commonly spotted near the Loess Hills Lodge.

Participants will partake in a complimentary breakfast featuring coffee, fruit, quiche, and maybe even french toast casserole! Eat while you enjoy the presentation then head downstairs for a hands on experience at a bird banding demonstration.

Attendees may wish to bring binoculars and a notebook to use in class, and don't forget your appetite!

The fee for this program is $15.00 per person & pre-registration is required as space is limited.
