Golden Hills RC&D is partnering with the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist (OSA) to offer an archaeology roadshow (artifact identification) event on May 6, 2023. Archaeologists will identify artifacts from personal collections the picnic shelter at Botna Bend Park. Visitors can bring a small selection of artifacts to discuss with the archaeologists! Please limit the number of artifacts you bring to five or fewer.

Free and open to the public. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Partners include: Golden Hills RC&D, University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist, Pottawattamie Conservation, and Pottawattamie Countywide Tourism Committee.
