Learn about new four-season recreation activities, infrastructure, and winter-season upgrades planned for Crescent Hill and share your preferences for what you'd like to see.
Bring the entire family and enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks, s'mores, bonfires, live music, guided hikes, scenic lift rides, and more. By participating in guided hikes, visitors will learn about the area's fragile Loess Hills ecosystem and wildlife and garner insights on recommended activities and infrastructure. Visitors are also invited to learn about the science behind how the area makes snow during our pump house tours.
Master plan development for the area was led by the SE Group, a renowned ski resort planning agency. The planning process, which began in October 2023, involved multiple open houses, an online public survey that collected nearly 1,000 responses, and stakeholder interviews with several groups representing local and regional tourism, economic development, recreation, conservation, and education industries.
