Gardening with Native Plants: Design

The Council Bluffs Public Library and Pottawattamie Conservation are teaming up to offer classes focused on giving you the confidence and background knowledge you need to grow a beautiful native garden. Native plants grow naturally in the region in which they evolved. They are the ecological basis upon which life depends, including pollinators, birds, and people.

In this class, held at the Council Bluffs Public Library, we will discuss how to choose a site for your garden, considerations to keep in mind when choosing plants, and garden design. This session will also provide information about working within city ordinances and HOAs.
