Hitchcock Insect Club is a grassroots club made up of local individuals who are passionate about bugs, and they want YOU to join in the fun!
The featured insect will be presented by Jody Green, PhD, UNL Extension Educator and Backyard Farmer Panelist. The main program will be presented by Hitchcock Nature Center's Environmental Educator Intern, Bailee Rinn.
The presentation will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Goldfinch room in the Loess Hills Lodge, but you are welcome to join a group walkabout beforehand at 5:30 p.m.
Participation is free with a park membership or $5/vehicle park entry fee.
Please note that processing fees will not be refunded. Guests may cancel their reservation for a refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 and speaking with staff directly. Cancellations received less than 1 week (7 days) in advance of the event will not be refunded. Fees for programs canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation due to weather or other circumstances will be refunded, including the processing fee.
