Homeschool in the Hills PM | Seed Survivors

PLEASE NOTE: Students 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult. An option for unaccompanied students age 11 and older will be offered.

Seeds are soaring! Come learn about our endangered prairie and how seeds are dispersed, and give back to our earth by harvesting native seeds and/or creating native seed balls. Enjoy a snack and stay after the program to explore the park and socialize.

Cost for this event is $5.00 per person for children ages 3 and over and covers your park entry fee. Accompanying adults and children under 3 are free -- children under 3 do not need a reservation. 

Please meet at the Loess Hills Lodge Bluestem Room at 1 p.m. 

These programs are delivered in a small-group, mostly outdoor guided format and are designed for elementary students in kindergarten through early high school.

PLEASE NOTE:  Students 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult. An option for unaccompanied students age 11 and older will be offered. Please help us plan age-appropriate curriculum by completing the birthdate information when registering. For questions not answered online please call 712-545-3283.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that processing fees will not be refunded. Guests may cancel their reservation for a refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 and speaking with staff directly. Cancellations received less than 1 week (7 days) in advance of the event will not be refunded. Fees for programs canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation due to weather or other circumstances will be refunded, including the processing fee.
