Join us at Arrowhead Park to learn the basics of kayaking: strokes, types of kayaks, water safety, and where to kayak. Then, test your new skills on the water at Arrowhead Lake. 

Cost for the program is $5 per participant. Pre-registration is required. Ages 12 years and up. 

We will meet in the parking area across from the park office. Please come prepared with water shoes and clothing that may get wet. For questions not answered online please call 712-242-1189

Cancellation Policy

Please note that processing fees will not be refunded. Guests may cancel their reservation for a refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 and speaking with staff directly. Cancellations received less than 1 week (7 days) in advance of the event will not be refunded. Fees for programs canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation due to weather or other circumstances will be refunded, including the processing fee.
