Join the Loess Hills Nordic Ski Patrol in February to learn the basics of mountain travel and rescue! This combination classroom/fieldwork course is certified by the National Ski Patrol and is a basic Search and Rescue class called Mountain Travel and Rescue – Level 1.
The classroom session for Mountain Travel and Rescue - Level 1 is February 18th and the field session is February 24th through 26th at Hitchcock Nature Center. The course is $55 per person.

The Loess Hills Ski Patrol will also be offering an Intro to Backpacking class with a classroom planning session on May 6th and an overnight camping trip May 13th through 14th at Hitchcock Nature Center.
