Want to express your creative side? Join us for watercolors and wildflowers!
Come out to Hitchcock Nature Center for a creative morning, Saturday, July 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to paint native wildflowers! You will learn about the flowers of the prairie, watercolor techniques, and more. Afterward, follow one of the environmental educators outside, where you will hit the trail and paint the flowers you see on the way. Come get your very own watercolor set to take home and discover what makes our local ecosystem unique, all while developing a greater appreciation for the beauty nature provides. Please note that easels and chairs will not be provided and we will be sitting along the trail as we paint.
No experience with art is necessary to register. This is a 12+ event and is $10 per person.
Please meet in the Bluestem Room (downstairs) at the Loess Hills Lodge at 9:00 a.m.
Please note that processing fees will not be refunded. Guests may cancel their reservation for a refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 and speaking with staff directly.
