Painted Dog Conservation has put together a conservation model to ensure long-term success and make a significant difference to the painted dog population in Zimbabwe. Employing more than 60 people from the local villages they run conservation programs and education and outreach programs.

Their efforts span everything from an Anti-Poaching Unit team that patrols local areas daily to provide a direct form of protection for the dogs to a Rehabilitation Facility where injured and orphaned dogs are treated before returning to the wild.
