Tick check!
Ticks may be small, but their impact is growing! Join us at Hitchcock Nature Center where Dr. Michael Dryden will discuss
- what tick species are commonly encountered in Iowa and Nebraska,
- why there are more ticks now than in the past,
- what diseases ticks transmit to dogs, cats, and people,
- how to protect yourself & your family, including pets,
- and how a tick sent Martha Stewart to prison.
