Arrowhead Park - Students entering 5th & 6th Grade will make some waves as they continue to expand their outdoor knowledge during Wild Wanderers at Arrowhead Park August 4th through 6th.

Campers will continue growing their outdoor survival skills through continued archery lessons, canoeing, advanced shelter building, & more of the most iconic summer camp games during this hands-on camp.

Wild Wanderers camp is designed for unaccompanied campers entering 5th & 6th grade. The camp will be held at Arrowhead Park in Neola, IA & will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. August 4th through 6th. The cost for this three-day camp is $75.00 per camper & includes park admission, snack, & camp materials.

Campers will need to provide a sack lunch for each day of camp. We also request campers bring a refillable water bottle, sunblock & insect repellent also recommended are a hat, sunglasses, long pants, & closed-toe shoes.

Online pre-registration is required as space is limited. Registration will open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2nd.

Join us for a summer of fun during Pottawattamie Conservation's 2020 Summer Nature Camps! Camps are offered for youth Pre-K through 9th Grade with a focus on fostering an understanding & appreciation of Iowa's unique environment. Campers will experience traditional summer camp games, outdoor adventures, & skill-building activities during these immersive, hands-on camps.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the material needs of each camp, we observe the following cancellation policy.

  • 14 Days (or More) Notice - 50% Refund
  • 13 to 8 Days Notice - 25% Refund
  • 7 Days or Less Notice - 0% Refund

*Camps with less than 10 registered campers may be canceled at the discretion of Pottawattamie Conservation. Camps canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation will be refunded 100%.
