Students age 3 to 5 are invited to join us for Wildlings: Impressive Insects on Thursday, August 5th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hitchcock Nature Center. Did you know butterflies taste with their feet? Or that most flowers cannot make seeds without help from insects. Insects are fascinating & have so many neat adaptations to learn about. Go on an insect safari & see what insects live in the forests & prairies. Discover their secrets & learn more about these tiny creatures that share our world.
Wildlings Camp is designed for unaccompanied campers age 3 to 5 who have not attended Kindergarten. Camps will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JAugust 2nd through 6th.
Cost is $15.00 per camper per day and includes park admission and all program materials. Online pre-registration is required as space is limited. For questions not answered online please call 712-545-3283 extension 1189.

About 2021 Summer Nature Camps
Join us for a summer of fun during Pottawattamie Conservation's 2021 Summer Nature Camps! Camps are offered for youth Pre-K through 9th Grade with a focus on fostering an understanding & appreciation of Iowa's unique environment. Campers will experience traditional summer camp games, outdoor adventures, & skill-building activities during these immersive, hands-on camps.
Due to the material needs of each camp, we observe the following cancellation policy.

*Camps with less than 10 registered campers may be canceled at the discretion of Pottawattamie Conservation. Camps canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation will be refunded 100%.
