Narrows River Park Reopens March 26th, 2026

Narrows River Park will reopen for the season on Thursday, March 26th, 2026.

Narrows River Park plans to open a little early this year! Please see below for park offerings and plan your visit today:

⌚ March and April Hours: Sunrise to sunset

✅ The boat ramp and dock are open during park hours. Please note: Water levels are currently low. Use caution and your best judgment when launching.

🏹 The archery range is open during park hours. Visitors must bring their own equipment. An archery program will be offered at the park on April 24th—pre-registration is required. As a reminder: Broadheads are NOT permitted due to the damage they cause to targets.

🎂 Planning a riverside graduation party, family reunion, or birthday bash? Reserve the Cottonwood Shelter (for groups of 30 or less) or the Overlook Shelter (for groups of 100 or less) today.

 

Park Entry:

Daily Entrance Fees:

No daily fee required for guests of paid shelter rental or children ages 13 and under with a paid adult.

Annual Permit:

Permit holders receive year-round access to five county parks, including seasonal access to Narrows. Permits may be paid for at the park or online.

 

Park Hours:

Narrows is open during navigation season from April through October. Narrows closes every winter from November through March.
