This year's annual All Hallows Eve Festival at Botna Bend promises fun for the entire family including hayrack rides, trick or treating, and soup! The public is invited to participate in fun fall activities hosted by Botna Bend Park staff and campers.
Registered campers will be entered to receive prices for the best-decorated campsite and may also enter into the park's 1st annual soup cookoff. Prizes include 2-day cabin rentals at Arrowhead Park and 2-night camping stays at Botna Bend Park. Details are below:
- 1st place for Best-Decorated Campsite: 2-day cabin rental at Arrowhead Park
- 2nd & 3rd place for Best-Decorated Campsite: 2-night camping stay at Botna Bend Park
- 1st place for Soup Cookoff (overall winner): 2-day cabin rental at Arrowhead Park
- 1st place for Soup Cookoff (category winners): 2-night camping stay at Botna Bend Park (goes to the winner of each category, including Chili, Potato, Veggie, Chicken Noodle, and Stew)
- Soup cookoff participants must register at the park ranger station on October 21st between 7 and 8 p.m.
This event is free with $3/vehicle park entry or an annual membership. Free will donations will be gratefully accepted & used to fund additional free and low-cost public programming at your county parks.
