Hitchcock Haunted Hollow - Sunday

Have a "howling" good time at Hitchcock Nature Center during Hitchcock Haunted Hollow from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24th. This all ages program is the perfect way to get outdoors & explore autumn in Iowa.

Participants may arrive anytime between 1:00 & 4:00 p.m. to pick up their treasure hunt materials. Once you have your clues in hand hit the trails to see if you can find the answers & return victorious. Costumes are welcome! Participants will be able to choose their route based on age & skill level. 

Online pre-registration is required as space is limited. Cost is $5.00 per person age 4 & over & includes park admission. Children age 3 & under are free & do not need a reservation.

Please meet at the Loess Hills Lodge to pick up your map. There are medium and difficult trail maps. The medium map is recommended for children and difficult is recommended for teens and adults and follows a more difficult trail as well.

Once you've finished your hunt, return victorious to the lodge to claim a prize!

Please note, this event will be held outdoors & involve pedestrian travel over uneven surfaces. Strollers are not permitted. This event is not pet friendly, service animals are welcome. Weather permitting.

Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their reservation for a full refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 and speaking with staff directly. Cancellations received less than 1 week (7 days) in advance of the event will not be refunded. Fees for programs cancelled by PCC due to weather or other circumstances will be refunded.
