Who's ready to try their hand at tapping homegrown maple syrup!? Bring the family out for our annual Maple Tree Tap at Botna Bend Park in Hancock, Iowa. Participants will get an introduction to the basics of syrup making - from tapping the trees to bottling the final product. You'll even get to explore the syrup shack at Botna Bend and learn how we make this sweet, sticky treat for our annual Pancake Feed every fall.

If temperatures are cooperative and the sap is flowing, you'll also have an opportunity to taste the sweet sap as it flows from a maple tree!

This event will take place outside. Please dress for the weather, wear appropriate footwear, and be mindful of social distancing.

Please register online to save your spot today! Registration is required to ensure we have enough supplies for participants. Please note: As much as we'd like to have syrup available for sale, all syrup produced is currently used at our annual Pancake Feed in the fall. Any surplus that might be available could possibly be sold then. Thank you!
