Arrowhead Park - Students entering 1st & 2nd Grade are invited to join us for a wet & wild time during Wild Ones at Arrowhead Park, July 28th through 30th.

Campers will explore this unique aquatic habitat as they enjoy canoeing, pond dipping, water games & much more. 

Wild One's camp is designed for unaccompanied campers entering 1st & 2nd grade. The camp will be held at Arrowhead Park in Neola, IA & will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. July 28th through 30th. The cost for this three-day camp is $75.00 per camper & includes park admission, snack, & camp materials.

Wild One's camp is designed for unaccompanied campers entering 1st & 2nd grade. The camp will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek, IA & will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. June 30th through July 2nd. The cost for this three-day camp is $75.00 per camper & includes park admission, snack, & camp materials.

Campers will need to provide a sack lunch for each day of camp. We also request campers bring a refillable water bottle, sunblock & insect repellent also recommended are a hat, sunglasses, long pants & closed-toe shoes.

Online pre-registration is required as space is limited. Registration will open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2nd.

Join us for a summer of fun during Pottawattamie Conservation's 2020 Summer Nature Camps! Camps are offered for youth Pre-K through 9th Grade with a focus on fostering an understanding & appreciation of Iowa's unique environment. Campers will experience traditional summer camp games, outdoor adventures, & skill-building activities during these immersive, hands-on camps.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the material needs of each camp, we observe the following cancellation policy.

  • 14 Days (or More) Notice - 50% Refund
  • 13 to 8 Days Notice - 25% Refund
  • 7 Days or Less Notice - 0% Refund

To cancel your camp registration please call 712-545-3283 extension 1189 or email environmentaleducation@pottcounty-ia.gov.

*Camps with less than 10 registered campers may be canceled at the discretion of Pottawattamie Conservation. Camps canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation will be refunded 100%.
