Hitchcock Nature Center - Students entering 5th & 6th Grade will expand their outdoor knowledge during Wild Wanderers at Hitchcock Nature Center July 14th through 16th.
Campers will continue growing their outdoor survival skills through archery lessons, advanced shelter building, & fire building during this hands-on camp.
Wild Wanderers camp is designed for unaccompanied campers entering 5th & 6th grade. The camp will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek, IA & will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. July 14th through 16th. The cost for this three-day camp is $75.00 per camper & includes park admission, snack, & camp materials.
Campers will need to provide a sack lunch for each day of camp. We also request campers bring a refillable water bottle, sunblock & insect repellent also recommended are a hat, sunglasses, long pants, & closed-toe shoes.
Online pre-registration is required as space is limited. Registration will open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2nd.
Join us for a summer of fun during Pottawattamie Conservation's 2020 Summer Nature Camps! Camps are offered for youth Pre-K through 9th Grade with a focus on fostering an understanding & appreciation of Iowa's unique environment. Campers will experience traditional summer camp games, outdoor adventures, & skill-building activities during these immersive, hands-on camps.
Due to the material needs of each camp, we observe the following cancellation policy.

*Camps with less than 10 registered campers may be canceled at the discretion of Pottawattamie Conservation. Camps canceled by Pottawattamie Conservation will be refunded 100%.
